In 2018, the Dumyat Centre which had been run by Clackmannanshire Council was marked for closure. Following a highly successful community campaign, with support from locals, who recognised the need to keep the building as a Hub for the local community, MCAG Board of Trustees took over the Dumyat Centre on behalf of the community. Since that time the Centre has operated, initially ‘with a licence to occupy and subsequently full management of the building under 25 year lease by MCAG, which has charitable status.
This Board of Trustees, formed by members from the local community, have overall responsibility for the day to day running and management of the centre, using their different skills, knowledge and areas of expertise effectively to ensure this is achieved.
The Board meet regularly throughout the year and publish an Annual Report in September. This report is shared with the local community at the AGM.
Minutes of Meetings and Annual Reports can be found on this website.
